3D printing is almost never suitable for a permanent installation. Doesnt matter about layer lines, orientation, filament type etc. 3D printing is a great prototyping solution. Very low cost, doesnt require much space, quick to print and makes zero mess or noise. Its important to learn how to 3D design for traditional manufacturing methods, ideally for CNC machining or laser cutting and bending. Those saying you didnt pull hard enough dont understand that you wouldve broken the clip off the helmet carrier or pulled the bike over.
